Citizens Advice Cardiff & Vale were delighted to take part in Pride Cymru 2022.

A mix of team leaders, caseworkers and advisers manned the stall and enjoyed the event, in partnership with staff from Citizens Advice elsewhere in South East Wales.

Wow! What a great day, the atmosphere was brilliant, the sun was shining and the colours of the outfits people were wearing were amazing.

Pride has always been important for myself and my family. Pride is ALWAYS a party. People celebrating each other and celebrating individuality, it’s a beautiful thing! It was lovely to experience Pride with work colleagues this year. Bring on Pride 2023!

We were able to raise awareness about the Citizens Advice service in a fun environment and had an opportunity to have some good conversations, particularly about working with Citizens Advice.

The weather and live music really contributed to the positive atmosphere all day. It was great to be a part of the support for the LGTBQIA+ community.

I really enjoyed Pride! It’s such an amazing event for the LGBT+ community to come together to celebrate love and friendship without fear of being judged. Hopefully they’ll remember us if they ever need to turn to someone for advice in the future.
